Filmed across Tokyo, Osaka, and surrounding regions, the project moved quickly with limited production time and a constantly changing environment. Working in a new country meant much of the shoot was approached in a run-and-gun style, adapting to locations, lighting, and opportunities as they became available while maintaining a premium visual standard for an international launch.

We created a visually striking campaign designed to feel cinematic, modern, and highly engaging for launch audiences. By leaning into Japan’s atmosphere, architecture, and energy, we produced graphically compelling video content that highlighted the performance and character of each lens in real-world environments. The content was designed to work across launch films, advertising, and broader social media use, ensuring flexibility across multiple platforms and audiences. The project was delivered in collaboration with Max Maerschalck and international Sigma teams.

Results.

The campaign was delivered successfully across all stakeholders, receiving exceptional feedback from Sigma teams internationally, including the parent company in Japan. The final content exceeded expectations and opened discussions around returning to support larger international collaborations within the following 12 months.
