Contentment Retreat
In-House supported Dean Raphael in covering the Contentment Foundation’s annual Bali retreat, contributing photo and video alongside the lead media team.
The contentment retreat brings together donors, members, and facilitators in Bali each year. Filming conditions are demanding, with long hours in hot, remote environments and the need to switch quickly between photo and video. Supporting an existing media team also required us to work within established structures while contributing meaningfully to the coverage.
In-House worked under the direction of lead photographer Dean Raphael, coordinating with him and the Contentment Foundation team on timelines, locations, and priorities. By maintaining clear communication and focusing on complementing the primary coverage, we ensured our work added value without disrupting the retreat’s flow.
The Contentment Foundation received a broad set of assets that captured the retreat experience for their donors and community. The success of the collaboration led to continued involvement for In-House, returning annually to support Dean Raphael and the foundation’s media documentation.
